Summer Buyers Have More Leverage Than They Think

Mortgage rates held near 6.6% last week, but the bigger story is growing inventory. New listings climbed, pending sales increased, and more than 40% of properties recently experienced price reductions. Serious buyers are still moving, but they are gaining more choices and negotiating power.
